Ingredients
- 14 oz stale bread, sliced
- Water, as needed
- Viaggio extra-virgin olive oil, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Viaggio grated Parmesan, to taste
Instructions
- Place the sliced bread in a soup pot and add enough water to cover it.
- Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally to keep the bread soft and break it down into a porridge-like consistency. This should take about 2–3 hours.
- Once the bread has cooked down, season the panada with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle with Viaggio extra-virgin olive oil and stir in grated Parmesan to taste.
- Serve warm, enjoying the creamy, rustic texture.
