TRENTINO SOUTH TYROL - Gnocchi panna e pancetta

Creamy Bacon Gnocchi

Ingredients

  • 1.1 lb Viaggio Gnocchi
  • 3.5 oz bacon, diced
  • 1 tbsp Viaggio extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 oz Viaggio grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the Viaggio olive oil over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crisp.
  2. Pour in the cream and simmer for a few minutes until slightly reduced.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the Viaggio Gnocchi in a pot of boiling water until they float to the surface (about 2–3 minutes), then drain.
  4. Add the gnocchi to the pan with the bacon and cream. Toss gently to coat.
  5. Serve immediately, topped with Viaggio grated Parmesan.
