CAMPANIA - Limoncello

Big jar w/ sealed top

3 empty 750ml bottles

Ingredients:

  • 1 TBS of Viaggio Lemon Juice
  • 10 Organic Lemons
  • 750 ml of Grain Alcohol
  • 750 ml Water
  • 700g of White sugar

Instructions:

  1. Carefully peel 10 organic lemons, avoiding the bitter white pith.
  2. Place lemon peels in a large jar. Add 750 ml of grain alcohol, seal, and place in a dry, dark place for 3 weeks. Gently shake the jar once a day to allow the flavors to infuse.
  3. Create a water syrup. Boil 750ml of water with 700g of sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved. Let it cool completely. Add 1 TBSP of Viaggio Lemon Juice to the mixture.
  4. Strain the infused alcohol to remove the lemon peels. Mix the infused alcohol with the water syrup to complete your Limoncello.
  5. Transfer the Limoncello to the empty 3 bottles and store in the freezer.
  6. Serve cold, garnish with a twist of lemon peel if desired, and enjoy your own Viaggio Limoncello!
