LOMBARDY - ITALIAN RED SAUCE

Ingredients:
- 4 cups Superpomodoro tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- A few fresh basil leaves
- ½ cup Viaggio Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Heat the Viaggio Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the garlic cloves and cook until they turn golden.
- Stir in the Superpomodoro tomatoes and basil leaves.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for up to 15 minutes.
- Gently crush the tomatoes with a fork or by stirring.
- Season with salt to taste.
