UMBRIA - Meat with peppers

Veal with Red Roasted Peppers

Total Time: 50 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 1.3 lb lean veal, cut into cubes
  • 1.3 lb Viaggio red roasted peppers, drained and sliced
  • 1 cup beer
  • Viaggio extra-virgin olive oil, to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat Viaggio extra-virgin olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the veal cubes and cook until browned on all sides.
  2. Season with salt and pepper, then pour in the beer. Let the veal cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. While the veal is cooking, drain the Viaggio red roasted peppers and slice them.
  4. After 30 minutes, add the sliced peppers and minced garlic to the pan. Continue cooking for an additional 20 minutes until the meat is tender and the flavors are well combined.
  5. Serve hot
