TRENTINO SOUTH TYROL - Elena artichokes

Artichokes with Balsamic Onion Sauce

Ingredients
- 6 Viaggio artichokes, drained
- 4 onions, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Viaggio extra-virgin olive oil, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a pan, heat a drizzle of Viaggio extra-virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Drain the artichokes and arrange them on a serving tray.
- Pour the sautéed onions over the artichokes, then add the minced garlic, chopped parsley, balsamic vinegar, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss gently and serve.
