MARCHES - Penne with artichokes and bacon

INGREDIENTS
0.88lb Viaggio penne
4 Viaggio artichokes
3 ½ oz bacon
1 clove of garlic
Oregano to taste
Dry white whine to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Viaggio grated parmesan
Viaggio Extra Virgin Olive Oil
DIRECTIONS
Start to prepare the artichokes by cutting them in small pieces. Dice the bacon and sauté it in a pan with on moderate-high heat with a tablespoon of Viaggio Extra Virgin Olive Oil, then pour in the white wine and let it evaporate and add the finely chopped garlic clove. Drain the slices of artichoke and incorporate them in the sauce, add salt, oregano and pepper to taste. Pour ½ cup of water and cook for ten minutes. Cook the Viaggio penne in salted water, drain it and sauté them in the pan with the sauce for at least a couple of minutes. Remove from the stove, sprinkle with some Viaggio grated parmesan and serve.
